This week was pretty much
like last week, we didn't have any guests that fished our docks. Tony
and I tried it once in awhile but the fish did not show any interest
in our offerings. The water temperatures are still running quite cold,
in the mid to high 40's most of the time which slows down the
metabolism of the fish to where they do very little feeding.
We did have guests with
boats that did quite well on bass and a few catfish using live jumbo minnows
at Shag Rock, Glenhaven Reef and other rocky areas with at
least 10 to 20 feet of water.
The lake level has risen
to over 4½ feet above Rumsey, full pool is 7.56 feet. More rain
is predicted later this week and going into next week so it should
continue to rise a bit.
